The product passes through a feed screw into the working chamber. In a special rotor surrounded by a screen jacket, it is mechanically stressed by friction. The friction intensity can be regulated at any time via a counterweight at the outlet of the machine. The removed saponins are discharged from the machine via an aspirated separate outlet. Another great advantage of the process is the fact that the saponins are present in concentrated and dry form.
The SCHULE scourer is available in different sizes. This allows a wide capacity range to be offered. Furthermore, these machines have a large maintenance opening, so that the screen basket and the rotor are easily accessible.
Advantages of the scourer:
- Easy to maintain and operate
- Energy efficient
- Gentle product treatment
Optionally, an aspiration channel can be connected downstream of the SCHULE scourer. This ensures that all particles that have dissolved during the frictional treatment are aspirated.
