Via a screw in the inlet, the product is uniformly distributed over the entire width of the machine and transported into the separation chamber. As an internal cross-flow fan generates a circulating air flow, the machine does not require a filter and fan connected downstream.
By means of the circulating air flow, the light particles are separated from the heavy particles and separated in the expansion chamber. There are three fractions: light, medium and heavy. You can choose between two and three fractions. By closing the medium fraction, only light and heavy particles are produced. Conveying screws discharge the separated products from the machine.
The process can always be monitored through inspection windows as the working chamber is illuminated. By regulating a secondary air flap, the degree of separation can be adjusted. Thus, the highest possible degree of separation can be ensured.
Advantages of the high-capacity closed circuit husk separator:
- High degree of separation
- Efficient operation due to recirculating air operation
- Can be used for many applications
The husked mixture previously produced in a husking machine, consisting of the light, medium and heavy fractions - in the case of oats in an impact huller - is separated into the individual fractions in the HUS. Machines such as a table separator are used to re-sort the heavy fraction.
